The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Justin Lin, who is best known as director for Fast and Furious movies, will serve as director of upcoming The Helldivers movie adaptation. As was previously reported, Gary Dauberman (It, Annabelle) will serve as screenwriter.

Justin Lin might be the right person to direct The Helldivers movie as he's so familiar with working on action movies; he worked not only for best Fast and Furious instalments but also he directed Star Trek: Beyond.

The Helldivers movie currently doesn't have a release date.
