Twitch has imposed a ban on streamers appearing nude during broadcasts
Twitch updated its guidelines within the "Just Chatting" category, prohibiting streamers from appearing fully nude on their broadcasts.
According to the new regulations, streamers must wear opaque clothing that covers all parts of their bodies. The major changes predominantly affect women: they are now prohibited from displaying nipples, and covering the area from the hips to the buttocks is required.
Twitch administration had to intervene due to widespread rule violations. Some female streamers appeared entirely naked on stream, covering their breasts and other body parts with black bars or banners.
In December 2023, Twitch officially allowed sexual content. However, shortly after, amendments were made, prohibiting the depiction or animation of female breasts, buttocks, and any forms of genitalia.
