Gaimin Gladiators closes Rainbow Six roster
Canadian esports organization Gaimin Gladiators has announced the parting ways with its Rainbow Six roster. The team was assembled last summer, but is now leaving the club. In addition, Gaimin Gladiators has decided to put their investments in the discipline on hold until Ubisoft provides more information about the scene's development in the new season. Probably, the organization does not want to maintain a roster that will not potentially receive an invite to the league.
A big thank you to our Rainbow Six team for their hard work and dedication over the past year. Unfortunately, we are releasing the squad right away due to lack of information from Ubisoft. We will delay our investment in Rainbow Six until we have the information we need to move forward. We love you boys.
The former Gaimin Gladiators roster was formed last June when the Canadian organization signed the Roosters team. In six months, the Indonesian team managed to win ROG Masters Asia-Pacific 2022: Southeast Asia, and also got into the top three at Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 2, Operation League Southeast Asia 2022 - Summer, ROG Masters Asia-Pacific 2022, Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 3 and Operation League Southeast Asia 2022 - Autumn.
However, the roster failed to make it to the closed qualifiers for the Six Invitational 2023 for Asia, thus predetermining the end of the season for itself.
