Luminosity Gaming leaves the Rainbow Six scene
Canadian esports organization Luminosity Gaming has announced the parting ways with its Rainbow Six roster. In addition, the club announced its retirement from the competitive scene. The organization's second attempt to achieve success in the discipline turned out to be a failure, as a result of which Luminosity Gaming again decided to leave.
Today we are announcing our departure from Rainbow Six North America. We wish all of our roster good luck on their next adventure.
Looking deep, Luminosity Gaming introduced its first roster back in 2019. However, the team did not achieve great success during the season, noting itself in the TOP-4 at the end of Pro League Season 10 - North America and OGA PIT Season 3. Such results led to the fact that at the beginning of next year the club decided to say goodbye to the roster and temporarily withdraw from discipline.
The last roster of Luminosity Gaming was formed in the summer of 2022. However, in three months, the North American team took second place in the North American Challenger League 2022: Stage 2 and North American Challenger League 2022: Stage 3.
However, the team failed in the open regional qualifiers for the Six Invitational 2023, which was probably the starting point for parting with the roster. Well, the last tournament for the team was SCS Season 7: Playoffs, following which Luminosity Gaming took the last place and earned $200.
Luminosity Gaming's latest Rainbow Six roster:
- Asian
- Eddy
- Julian
- Rice
- Splash
- Waiffer (head coach)
- Tiseis (analyst)
