RIN left DAMWON Gaming
South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has announced another change in the Rainbow Six roster, parting ways with RIN. Recall that the 23-year-old South Korean player has been part of the club since the team was founded in March 2021. In an official announcement, the organization said that the contract with the cybersportsman was terminated.
The contract between DAMWON Gaming and RIN has been terminated. We are deeply grateful to RIN for keeping up with all the historical moments and giving unforgettable joy and happiness. We wish you happiness and good luck in the future. Thank you.
RIN joined DAMWON Gaming at the beginning of 2021 when the organization signed the Spear Gaming roster. In two seasons, the 23-year-old South Korean player helped the team win the Korean Open 2021 - Summer, Asia-Pacific League 2021 - Playoffs - Stage 2, Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 1, Korean Open 2022 - Spring and Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 2.
In addition, together with the team, he managed to get into the TOP-3 at the Asia-Pacific League 2021 - Playoffs - Stage 3 and Six Sweden Major 2021, having simultaneously been in the playoffs of the Six Invitational 2022.
However, the past season cannot be called successful for DAMWON Gaming, as the team failed to directly qualify for the Six Invitational 2023. In addition, the South Korean team failed in the recent qualifiers in order to finish the season ahead of schedule. The club has since made a number of roster changes, including saying goodbye to CATsang and assistant coach PJH.
Probably DAMWON Gaming will get a partner slot next season. However, now the team will have to do some serious work on the bugs in order to come back stronger.
Updated DAMWON Gaming Rainbow Six roster:
