Sapper leaves Elevate starting lineup
North American esports organization Elevate announced changes to its Rainbow Six roster, moving Sapper to the bench. According to the official statement, the cybersportsman needed a break from the competition for personal reasons. As a result, the team will play out APAC South 2022 - Stage 3 together with AnGryX.
Sapper is unfortunately leaving Elevate's Rainbow Six starting roster and taking a break from competition for personal reasons, at least until the end of the third split.
We wanted to thank Sapper for his huge contribution to Elevate and for being a huge part of this team's success over the past two seasons. We respect his decision and hope that the community will continue to support Sapper throughout this time.
AnGryX will be part of our roster until the end of APAC South 2022 - Stage 3 and we fully believe that he will help us get to the November Major.
Sapper has been part of Elevate's starting roster since April 2021. During this time, the 24-year-old Thai player helped the team win the APAC League 2021 Playoffs - Stage 1, Operation League Thailand Season 6, APAC League 2022 Playoffs - Stage 1 and Operation League Southeast Asia 2022 - Summer, among others.
In addition, together with the Sapper team, he took part in the Six Invitational 2022 (9th-12th place) and Six Berlin Major 2022 (5th-8th place). Also, the team failed to take part in the Six Charlotte Major 2022, as it failed to obtain visas to the United States.
Currently, the Thai team is playing in the APAC South 2022 - Stage 3, where after three rounds played, it takes the second place with two wins and one loss. In addition, Operation League Southeast Asia 2022 - Autumn is taking part in parallel with Elevate.
