This is the sixth invitation that has been given to a participant directly. Previously, invites were received by such teams as FaZe Clan, Team Vitality, Ghost Gaming, Method and Team SoloMid.

Totally, 16 teams will compete in the tournament. Besides nine direct invites, slots will be given to teams that qualify in North America, South America, and Europe. Three slots will be allocated for Europe and North America, while only one slot will be reserved for South America.
