The PUBG developers talked about the upcoming 9.1 update for the console version of the game. It plans to raise the performance of the battle royale.
The ninth season with all the innovations, including the new map, is already available for testing on the PC, now it is up to the console versions of the game. Apart from all the gameplay aspects, the patch should increase the frame rate for the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. However, not everything is so simple.
In order to increase the maximum frame rate to 60, developers will have to set the resolution to 1920 × 1080. In addition to this, the creators of the battle royale assure that they are looking for opportunities to improve the performance of the game on other consoles.
