PUBG: Battlegrounds Marks 8 Years with Update 34.2

Since its release on December 21, 2017, PUBG: Battlegrounds has been a defining force in the battle royale genre, inspiring countless competitors and reshaping online gaming. At its peak, the game hit an all-time high of 3.2 million concurrent players, setting a Steam record that remains one of the platform’s most impressive achievements.

Though PUBG now competes with Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Warzone, it continues to hold a loyal player base. To celebrate its 8th anniversary, PUBG Corporation is rolling out Update 34.2, bringing new in-game events and special content to keep the action fresh.
