PUBG Mobile 2023 Competitive Stage Details Revealed

KRAFTON revealed the first details of the competitive scene in PUBG Mobile in 2023. The scene will undergo some changes, as well as travel to Turkey for the first time to host the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023. In addition, the organizers will expand their PUBG Mobile Pro League ecosystem in Southeast Asia by combining several regions into one competition.

PUBG Mobile Pro League MY/ SG/ PH will be replaced by a dedicated PUBG Mobile Pro League Malaysia competition and a separate league called PUBG Mobile Pro League SEA Wild Card will be introduced. The Wild Card region will feature teams from the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia and Singapore.

New tournaments between regions will also be added, similar to last year's PUBG MOBILE Regional Clash 2022.

All official PUBG Mobile tournaments will switch to a 10-point system to make games "more exciting and competitive". Recall that earlier the teams that took first place in the rounds received 15 points, and the figure decreased depending on the position.

Also, KRAFTON has introduced a special esports ecosystem. As a result, PUBG Mobile Pro League will host a PMPL qualifier which will give teams a direct path to the leagues. Teams can access the PUBG Mobile Pro League Qualifier by participating in the PUBG MOBILE Club Open, PUBG MOBILE National Championship, and third-party tournaments.

In 2023, the stage will host two major championships - PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023 and PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023. The World Invitational will take place in Riyadh in July, while the Global Championship will take place from November to December in Turkey.

Other key stage events featured in the official announcement also included the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia and the 19th Asian Games in China.
