Sick is the new head coach of DAMWON Gaming
South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has announced the appointment of Sick as the head coach of its PUBG roster. Recall that the 32-year-old South Korean specialist has worked as an assistant head coach since May last year, but has now been promoted after the recent resignation of Temeria.
The contract between DAMWON Gaming and PUBG team coach Ma Hyungsik has been extended. Please keep an eye out for Trainer Sick as he leads the PUBG team to new and exciting frontiers.
Sick joined the DAMWON Gaming coaching staff in May last year. During the time spent with the team, the 32-year-old South Korean specialist helped the roster get into the top three in the Battlegrounds Smash Cup Season 7, PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 2 and Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 - Grand Finals, as well as take 13th place at PUBG Continental Series 7: Asia.
However, at the end of the season, the South Korean organization made roster changes as they were dissatisfied with the team's performance in 2022. In addition, changes have taken place on the coaching bridge since Temeria left his post.
With a new head coach, the DAMWON Gaming team will begin preparations for the start of the new season. Now the South Korean team will try to rehabilitate itself for the failures of the last season, as well as assess the potential of the recently signed Americano and MinuDa.
Updated PUBG roster of DAMWON Gaming:
- Under
- Menteul
- americano
- MinuDa
- Sick (head coach)
