All Overwatch League matches in China were canceled due to coronavirus outbreak
Information appeared on the Overwatch League Twitter account. There, the organizers said that the matches will still be held, but later. When new information appears, they will immediately share it with the public.
Recently it became known that the Chinese team Shanghai Dragons moved to South Korea due to the appearance of the coronavirus. Shanghai Dragons was not the first eSports club to be affected by the emerging virus. Earlier, we learned that the Chinese teams that participated in DreamLeague Season 13 were unable to return home, and one of the Team Aster players, on the contrary, fell into the quarantine zone, from where he could not get out and was unable to play Dota 2.
Coronavirus appeared in China in Wuhan last December. At the moment, 7911 infections and 170 deaths from this disease are registered. The virus is already in 22 countries, including China, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, the United States and others.
