Blizzard has rolled out a significant balance update for Overwatch 2 on March 25, introducing adjustments to 11 heroes across all roles. This patch delivers notable buffs to heroes like Roadhog and Widowmaker, while Mauga and Winston have been nerfed to curb their effectiveness.

Although Overwatch 2 Season 16 is still weeks away, Blizzard is shaking up the meta with these latest balance tweaks. Mauga, in particular, has received four major adjustments that weaken his kit, while Cassidy and Soldier: 76 now pack more damage output in team fights.

Mauga (Nerfed)
- Cardiac Overdrive: No longer provides allies with damage reduction.
- Cage Fight (Ultimate):Ultimate cost increased by 8%.
- Barrier health reduced from 1500 to 1200 HP.
- Berserker Passive: Overhealth conversion rate reduced from 50% to 40%.
Roadhog (Buffed)
- Take a Breather: Maximum healing increased from 400 to 450.
- Whole Hog (Ultimate): Ultimate cost reduced by 12%.
Winston (Nerfed)
- Primal Rage (Ultimate): Ultimate cost increased by 10%.
Zarya (Nerfed)
- Energy Degeneration Rate: Increased from 2 to 2.5 per second.
Cassidy (Buffed)
- Peacekeeper:Primary fire falloff range increased from 20 to 25 meters.
- Secondary fire damage increased from 45 to 50.
Echo (Adjusted)
- Base Health: Reduced from 225 to 150 HP.
- Shield Health: Increased from 0 to 75 HP.
Soldier: 76 (Buffed)
- Heavy Pulse Rifle: Primary fire now uses larger projectile size (0.07 meters).
Sojourn (Nerfed)
- Power Slide:Cooldown increased from 7 to 8 seconds.
- Maximum duration reduced from 1.2 to 1 second.
Widowmaker (Buffed)
- Base Health: Increased from 200 to 225 HP.
Ana (Nerfed)
- Biotic Grenade Cooldown:Non-6v6 modes: Increased from 12 to 14 seconds.
- 6v6 modes: Increased from 10 to 12 seconds.
- Shrike (Self-Nano Boost): Duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds.
Juno (Nerfed)
- Orbital Ray (Ultimate): Ultimate cost increased by 10%.
