Mythic weapon skins are a relatively new addition to Overwatch 2, first appearing in Season 11 with Reinhardt’s Bound Demon skin. These exclusive cosmetics differ from Mythic hero skins, offering players interactive features like reactive sound and visual effects when eliminating enemies, custom weapon animations, and unique explosion visuals upon takedowns.

As Season 14 reaches its midpoint, Blizzard has confirmed that the Lead Rose Mythic weapon skin will soon be unlockable. Available starting January 21, it’s expected to follow the standard pricing model of previous Mythic weapon skins, requiring 50 Mythic Prisms to unlock. Players can further enhance the skin up to level 4 by spending 10 additional prisms per level, each upgrade unlocking new cosmetic effects.

Lead Rose Skin Brings a Gothic Edge to Ashe

While the full details of the Lead Rose skin’s effects remain under wraps, the design has already gained popularity among Ashe fans. The skin transforms Ashe's signature Viper rifle into a gothic masterpiece, featuring a sleek black and pink-red color scheme accented with glowing rose chain decals along the barrel.

Season 14 has been an exciting chapter for Overwatch 2. Alongside the Lead Rose skin, the season introduced the new tank hero, Hazard, and expanded playtesting for the return of 6v6 gameplay, which will soon be available in Arcade mode. Additionally, a crossover event with Avatar: The Last Airbender adds even more content for players to explore.

With the Lead Rose weapon skin just around the corner, Ashe mains have plenty to look forward to in Overwatch 2’s evolving landscape.
