Cyberpunk 2077 never stops hitting all sorts of records. Only the Steam and Twitch servers started to cope with the influx of players, as the Poles shared the statistics of the pre-orders of the game.
CDPR reported that the game has been pre-ordered 8 million times. Moreover, 74% of all copies are digital. Of the 8 million copies, 59% are PC copies, while the remaining 41% are console versions.

Sign UpTranslating this into numbers, it turns out that over 4.70 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 were bought on the PC, which makes the game the most successful release of all time. Previously, such an achievement could boast of the addition to World of Warcraft Shadowlands, which sold 3.7 million copies on release.
