Cyberpunk 2077 is finally released! The game put down the Steam and GOG servers
After CD Project RED released Cyberpunk 2077 to PC, the Steam and OG playgrounds experienced disruptions due to the huge influx of players.
This was told by both the developers of the game and the users themselves, who faced technical problems. According to the monitoring sites, the servers did not survive for only the first hour.
This is not the only problem faced by users who bought Cyberpunk 2077. For some of the audience, the download of the game stopped at the very end at 95% or 57 GB out of 60. Steam technical support asked the players to be patient and let the program download the game, since this is just display error and the Steam client is currently unpacking the game files on the computer. Representatives of this digital store asked users to just wait and not switch settings, and also not to restart the program.
On December 10, Cyberpunk 2077 was released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the game is already available on the next generation consoles, but so far only through the backward compatibility system.
