LoL roster of Fnatic was left without Rekkles
Fnatic's website has announced that their League of Legends roster will undergo further changes. This time, Rekkles was at the center of the action and wanted to pursue his career elsewhere.
Fnatic wrote the following on their website:
“In the last few hours, Martin Rekkles Larsson informed us of the decision to move to another team. This was the culmination of massive contract negotiations and the end of eight years of history. Martin noted that he was thinking about re-signing the contract earlier this year, but after the biggest offer Fnatic has ever made to a player, including a long-term plan for the future after the end of his esports career, he made the decision to move on. This decision was not based on financial gain.
Fnatic moves on to a new chapter. Our relationship with Rekkles has been a long and successful one, and we are very proud of what he achieved in black and orange. "
Rekkles joined the ranks of Fnatic in 2012. Then an interesting story happened. At the time the player joined the esports club, Martin was 16 years old and the management of the organization did not take into account that he was not eligible to play for Fnatic in the EU LCS Spring 2012. In view of this, the esportsman was in the team as a rented player for three years. After this time, Martin Larsson signed a contract, according to which he became a full-fledged player in the starting roster. Under the banner of Fnatic, the esportsman has raised the EU LCS Champion Cup four times.
At the moment, there is no information yet about where Rekkles will continue his career and what Fnatic will do next.
Fnatic roster:
- Gabriel 'Bwipo' Rau
