The 2020 World Championship was hosted without coronavirus victims

One of the ESPN journalists, namely Tyler 'FionnOnFire' Erzberger, drew the attention of viewers to the fact that during and after the final stage of the 2020 World Championship, no participant was victims of coronavirus infection. Thus, he noted that the organization of the tournament was high, as promised by the organizers of the event. Riot Games received accolades from a journalist for such a desperate but neatly planned move.

Tyler Erzberger also expressed his sympathy for the Vietnamese teams who were never able to attend the event. According to FionnOnFire, the production of the multi-lingual coverage of the championship, the opening ceremony, and active participation from fans attending the LAN Finals made the 2020 World Championships a truly unique and unforgettable event.

As a reminder, the 2020 World Championship took place from September 25 to October 31. The venue for the championship was the Pudong Football Stadium in Shanghai. More than 6,000 spectators came to see firsthand the last fight.
