League of Legends Patch 25.7: Early Notes & LeBlanc Overhaul

Patch 25.7 for League of Legends introduces a visual overhaul for LeBlanc, refreshing one of the game’s oldest champions. However, her update isn’t just cosmetic—there are plenty of other exciting changes coming, including April Fools-themed gameplay tweaks and skins.

While this patch appears to be smaller in terms of balance adjustments compared to 25.06, there are still notable champion changes, including buffs to Shen and nerfs to Yone and Yorick.

Here’s everything we know so far about LoL patch 25.7.

April Fools Update

This lighthearted update brings cosmetic and gameplay changes to the Rift, featuring one of Riot’s most well-received skin sets in years. The community has praised these skins for their high-quality art direction and animations, a welcome contrast to recent concerns over Hextech Chests and declining skin quality.

One standout addition is Pengu Garen, a free limited-time skin that introduces a temporary hitbox change—a first for LoL. Due to this unique adjustment, the skin will only be available for this patch cycle.

The Rift itself is also getting a festive makeover with:

• Disco rubber ducky decorations
• Minions sporting cat ears
• The Party Drake replacing Cloud Drake

Party Drake Effects:

• Grants Party Favor on kill (gold & a skill point bonus)
• Party Dragon Soul: +30% move speed & AD/AP scaling with movement speed
• Maintains Cloud Drake’s wind tunnels, but with a party-themed twist

LeBlanc Overhaul

LeBlanc’s visual update modernizes her in-game model, animations, and VFX, bringing her up to par with LoL’s more recent champions. Every one of her skins has either received splash art updates or full reworks, with major changes to Mistletoe LeBlanc and others.

Currently, no balance changes have been confirmed alongside her visual overhaul. However, Riot may make minor tweaks before release.

To celebrate the update, LeBlanc’s older skins will be available in the store, giving long-time fans another chance to collect them.

Shen (Buffed)

Q – Twilight Assault

• Now applies bonus attack damage to turrets
• Only affects base damage, not% max health damage

Yone (Adjusted)

Passive – Way of the Hunter

• No longer reduces critical strike damage

E – Soul Unbound

• No longer cleanses crowd control (CC) when returning to his body
• Still unstoppable during return, but CC duration will resume afterward

Yorick (Nerfed)

Q – Last Rites

• Ghoul damage to monsters reduced from 100% → 75%
