Patch 13.3 Preview: Aurelion Sol Rework, Support Buffs, and New Nerfs to Xanthe and Kassadin
On February 10, patch 13.3 will be released on the League of Legends servers. Along with the update, the updated Aurelion Sol will debut in the game, and a whole bunch of characters and items will undergo changes.
We are talking about the main innovations of patch 13.3 for the League of Legends.
Aurelion Sol Update
Riot Games unveiled the updated champion in early January 2023. A month later, the space dragon will reach Summoner's Rift with a new arsenal of abilities and updated mechanics.
In patch 13.3, Aurelion Sol will receive a long-awaited scale. Previously, the champion suffered from a lack of funds to play effectively in the late stages of the match, and thanks to the reworked passive ability, the Universal Creator will try to avoid this.

Along with the release of the updated champion, the developers of the League of Legends will focus on rebalancing the existing ones. The changes will affect 16 characters, of which 5 will be made stronger, and 11 will be weakened.

In patch 13.3, Riot Games made a big focus on melee support champions. In solo matchmaking, they were behind their long-range counterparts by a 2:1 pick ratio, but in professional LoL, the difference was a whopping 20:1. Update 13.3 will aim to rebalance the balance and bring new strategies to life.
