Kingen and Zeka Officially Join Hanwha Life Esports
South Korean esports organization Hanwha Life Esports has announced changes to its League of Legends roster by signing contracts with Kingen and Zeka. Former DRX players and 2022 World Championship winners join the team as they build a new roster for the LCK.
Kingen, winner of the 2022 World Championship, and Zeka will join Hanwha Life Esports. We sincerely salute Kingen, who has strong teamfighting abilities, and Zeka, who is a versatile player.
Kingen spent two years with DRX while Zeka joined the team before the start of last season. Together, the South Korean esportsmen became the winners of the 2022 World Championship, and also took second place at the LCK Regional Finals 2022. However, the DRX organization failed to re-sign contracts with its champion roster, which scattered across different teams.
These two players have been the driving force behind the successful DRX World Run in 2022. Kingen was the match MVP against T1 in the 2022 World Championship Grand Final, while Zeka became famous for his stellar performance throughout the championship.
Recall that earlier the Hanwha Life Esports organization made a serious shake-up of its roster, relying on the failure in the past season. In particular, the club said goodbye to Cheoni, Karis, OnFleek, SamD, Vsta and Willer, but retained DuDu's top liner and coaching staff. At the same time, the Viper boatliner became the first signing of the team.
Updated Hanwha Life Esports League of Legends roster:
- DuDu
- Kingen
- Zeka
- Viper
- Kezman (head coach)
- SuDal, DanDy and Key (coaching staff)
- Bibra (analyst)
