Lille Esports signed a Ukrainian player
The leadership of the European League of Legends team made an announcement on their Twitter account, in which they talked about the arrival of the Ukrainian to the ranks of the international roster. Now the roster has been changed and is completely ready for performances at LFL Division 2 Summer 2022, which the club's management proudly announces on social networks.
Prior to joining Lille Esports, Vladimir 'Maynter' Sorokin was a member of One Breath Gaming until the team disbanded on April 6th. The reason for this was Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the ban on LCL Summer 2022 as sanctions from Riot Games. Due to the fact that One Breath Gaming lost the opportunity to participate in the LCL Summer 2022, it made no sense to keep the team from the club's management. Sorokin also played in Dragon Army, and it was with the latter that he achieved some success in his career. As part of Dragon Army, Maynter took 5th and 7th place at LCL Spring 2021 and LCL Summer 2021, where he earned $3,306 and $3,429, respectively. His journey as a professional League of Legends player began in February 2021. For a year and almost 4 months, the esportsman earned $1,347 in prize money.
LFL Division 2 Summer 2022 kicks off May 30th. 10 teams will take part in the event. In addition to Lille Esports, Atletec, beGenius ESC, BK ROG Esports, FC Nantes Esports, IziDream, Joblife, PCS Taran, Team MCES and TPAA will also compete in the tournament. The teams will share ranking points between each other, which will determine who will go to the LFL Division 2 Promotion next season, who will go to the LFL Division 2 Spring, and who will become a member of the LFL Up & Down, where you can get the opportunity to reach the first division.
