Starting September 23, 2025, Halo Infinite will feature seven unique weapon coatings and a new Promethean Heatwave model.

All teams included in the HCS Meltdown collection:

  • FaZe Clan
  • Spacestation Gaming
  • TSM
  • OpTic Gaming
  • Shopify Rebellion
  • Complexity
  • Cloud9

According to the official trailer, early buyers of the HCS Meltdown bundle will receive an exclusive Promethean cosmetic model for the Heatwave. In addition, team skins will be applicable to any type of weapon in the game. The price of the collection has not yet been revealed; however, it is expected that the cost will be similar to previous HCS bundles, which ranged from 1300 credits ($12.99) to 1500 credits ($14.99).

Earlier this year, players were introduced to the HCS Starter Pack, which included the REAP-X model for the battle rifle and a set of seven team coatings for various weapons.

Halo esports events in 2025

Although Halo Infinite does not have the same popularity as Dota 2 or CS2, it still maintains a solid fan base. The release of the HCS Meltdown collection coincides with an important stage on the professional Halo scene, as the World Championship is ahead.

On October 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, the Charlotte Major will kick off, where 16 of the strongest teams from regional qualifiers and open qualifiers will compete for a prize pool of $250,000 and qualification for the Halo World Championship 2025.

The top eight teams will earn a slot at the Halo World Championship, which will take place on October 24–26 in Seattle, Washington. In the final tournament of the season, 16 top teams from the HCS global rankings will compete for a $1 million prize pool.
