FaZe Clan is preparing to sign Renegade
According to Dexerto, the North American esports organization FaZe Clan is preparing to complete the Halo roster, aiming to sign Renegade. The 21-year-old American esportsman will replace bubu dubu, who left the team last week.
Renegade made a name for himself as part of Cloud9, which he has been playing for since the end of 2020. Together with the team, the 21-year-old American became the winner of the Team Envy 2v2 Invitational, Halo 5 SEND OFF, Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major and Halo Championship Series 2022: North America Regionals, and also took second place in Halo 5 Pro Series Season 1: NA - Championship, FaZe Halo Invitational and Halo Championship Series 2022: Kansas City Major.
In turn, bubu dubu has been playing for FaZe Clan since December last year. During this time, the 23-year-old American helped the team win HCS 2021-22 North America Open Series 10, as well as get into the top three at Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major, HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 1, HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 2 and HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 4.
Note that earlier the Sentinels team showed interest in Renegade. However, the Cloud9 organization requested about $400,000 for the transfer of their player.
The nearest championship for the North American team will be Halo Championship Series 2022: North America Regional Super, which will be held online from August 5 to 8.
