Nissan FaZe Clan Halo Invitational Announced
North American esports organization FaZe Clan and automotive brand Nissan have announced the Nissan FaZe Clan Halo Invitational. The championship will take place from April 16 to 17 online, offering participants a prize pool of $50,000.
FaZe Clan is partnering with Nissan to host the Nissan FaZe Clan Halo Invitational. This tournament will set the tone for the Halo competitive scene in 2022 and attract the competitive community. With $50,000 on the line and top teams in the North American scene, FaZe Clan and Nissan aim to set the bar for the 2022 Halo competitive season.
Twelve teams received direct invitations to the Nissan FaZe Clan Halo Invitational: FaZe Clan, Complexity Gaming, G2 Esports, OpTic Gaming, Fnatic, Oxygen Esports, Cloud9, eUnited, XSET, Sentinels, Spacestation and Pioneers. In addition, following the results of the open qualifiers, two out of four teams were selected for the championship: Gamers First and Built by Gamers.
The Nissan FaZe Clan Halo Invitational will begin with the group stage, where all participants will be divided into four quartets. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs where they will compete for the lion's share of the $50,000 prize pool.
