By Papers, Please is working on a new game
Lucas Pope, author of the acclaimed Papers, Please, is developing a new game. It will be exclusive to the Playdate console, according to the publisher of the upcoming title. The game itself will be called Mars After Midnight, about which information appeared at the presentation dedicated to the device.
Playdate was announced in May 2019 and will be on sale before the end of 2019. It is a small console with a monochrome display and a rotating handle. The price of the gaming device will be $ 179, and it will be possible to pre-order it in July. All Playdate buyers will receive 24 free games, but they will be released two times a week.
The original Doom, which ran on perhaps every device with a display, was adapted for the Playdate console as well. Nick Magnir, the interface designer of the Keen Games studio, managed to come to this, as he talked about on Twitter.
