AMD is likely to add support for FidelityFX Super Resolution technology to their graphics card drivers. Previously, NVIDIA developed this technology for their video cards and there it is called DLSS.

If the portal Prohardver, referring to its sources, is right, then this spring a system will appear on AMD video cards that, using machine learning algorithms, will eliminate aliasing without putting a load on the system.

Unlike NVIDIA and their DLSS, FidelityFX Super Resolution technology will not be exclusive to AMD and will be available to other video card manufacturers, including NVIDIA themselves, but the latter are unlikely to need it. FidelityFX cross-platform will be implemented closer to the middle of 2021.

Earlier it became known that the above technology can only work when ray tracing is enabled. According to sources, AMD will make the system comfortable enough to use due to the large amount of Infinity Cache memory. This should not be hindered by the lack of special tensor cores in the GPU developed by Radeon.
