No Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 this year
Activision Blizzard hastened to annoy fans hoping that Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 will be released this year. The company has confirmed that the flagship projects are still far from the release form, and therefore they will be released clearly later than 2021.
However, Activision Blizzard is not sitting idle. The company continues to work on mobile Diablo Immortal and plans to release it by the end of this year. The next Call of Duty is also planned for the fall.
The Diablo Immortal release, while more of an event, doesn't seem to be too important to focus on for the upcoming BlizzConline. Since there will be little news about Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, most likely at the presentation we will see the announcement of a remaster of the classic Diablo 2, which, according to rumors, is already being actively pursued.
As a reminder, this year's annual Blizzard show will take place online. BlizzConline kicks off on February 19th and will run for 2 days.
