News from the fields - Diablo Immortal development progress
The curtain of secrets that has wrapped Diablo Immortal since its announcement in 2018 has finally opened. Blizzard decided to share details of the upcoming project.
For starters, it's worth mentioning that Diablo Immortal is starting technical alpha testing soon. It will check the servers and the performance of the game on different devices. However, the news about Blizzard tests was not limited to.
Diablo Immortal will tell you about the time span between Diablo II and Diablo III. The heroes will have to clear the land from the influence of the destroyed stone of the universe. In addition, in the game we are waiting for:
- 6 playable classes (barbarian, sorcerer, demon hunter, crusader, monk and necromancer);
- Short dungeons for 10-15 minutes;
- Joint mode with global events;
- Improvement levels similar to those seen in Diablo III;
- Family items.
This is just a part of what the developers have prepared. The full details of the development team's plans can be found here, and the release date of Diablo Immortal is still a mystery.
