Sloclap has released Patch 1.200.200 for Rematch via the Steam Beta, delivering a wave of bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and quality-of-life upgrades. This marks the game’s second major update since its launch on June 19, 2025. The full rollout to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC is set for August 18.

Rematch debuted with over 1 million players in 24 hours, but has since lost roughly 85% of its player base in just over two months. The first major patch addressed core bugs without adding new features, and this latest update follows a similar path — focusing on stability and core gameplay fixes over new content.

The update heavily targets netcode improvements and core mechanic fixes, including:

• Tackle improvements — better network resolution, rollback handling, and tackling during shot prep.
• Goalkeeper fixes — corrected save animations, prevented goals from being counted incorrectly, and added new procedural arm animations for catches.
• Ball Touch rework — ensures the ball stays right at the player’s feet in possession for clearer control visuals.
• Achievement fixes — previously bugged achievements like Post to Post now unlock properly.
• Reduced camera shake on ball steals.
