Clash of Clans February 2026 Update Brings New Pet, Spell Tower Option, and Major Upgrades

Following the upcoming improvements to the Gold Pass, Clash of Clans is preparing a substantial content update for February 2026. The update introduces new troop and defense levels, an additional Spell Tower mode, 75 new wall upgrades, and a brand-new pet called the Greedy Raven.

Here’s a full breakdown of everything announced so far.

New Pet: Greedy Raven

The standout feature of the update is the introduction of the Greedy Raven, a new pet unlocked by upgrading the Pet House to Level 12. This upgrade costs 25.5 million Elixir and requires 13 days and 12 hours to complete.

Once unlocked, the Greedy Raven starts at Level 1 and can be upgraded using Dark Elixir. At maximum level, it has:

• 3,500 hit points
• 155 DPS

However, its defining ability is a 5x damage multiplier against resource buildings, meaning it can deal up to 775 DPS to storages, Town Halls, and similar structures.

With an 8-tile range, the Greedy Raven prioritizes resource buildings within reach. If none are available, it targets defenses or enemy units. This makes it particularly effective for farming strategies, as it can quickly eliminate high-value resource targets and accelerate loot-focused attacks.

New Spell Tower Mode: Earthquake

A major defensive addition arrives with the Earthquake Spell Tower. Upgrading the Spell Tower to Level 4 unlocks Earthquake mode. The upgrade costs 27 million Gold and takes 14 days to complete (before boosts).

When activated, the Earthquake Spell Tower deals 30% damage to ground troops within its radius. Air units are unaffected. Like other Spell Towers, a ground troop must remain in range for 1.2 seconds to trigger the effect. After activation, the tower enters a 50-second rearm cooldown.

Earthquake Spell Rework

The Earthquake Spell is also receiving multiple new levels and an important mechanical change. It now deals percentage-based damage to defending units, scaling up to 14% troop damage at higher levels.

While the percentage may appear modest, the change increases its utility in hero-focused strategies. When combined with Fireball-based hero sniping tactics, the upgraded Earthquake Spell can help secure eliminations more reliably.
