The Delicious Last Course Cuphead Expansion Not Coming This Year

It looks like transfers in 2020 will haunt us for a long time. The developers from the MDHR studio announced the transfer of the add-on for Cuphead.

The reason for the transfer, which is not surprising, was the coronavirus. In a pandemic, the creators cannot realize their full potential and therefore they made a difficult decision and pushed the release of The Last Course to 2021. However, it's too early to get upset.

According to the developers, when creating The Last Course, they use all the experience gained during the development of the original Cuphead, and the add-on itself will be their best creation. The DLC will bring a new island, new bosses and a new playable character to the game. It will be the Chalice, which will have a set of unique abilities. The Cup will be able to complete both the DLC and the original Cuphead campaign.

The Delicious Last Course DLC will be released in 2021 on all platforms simultaneously. However, whether it will immediately appear on PS5 and Xbox Series is not yet clear.
