Path of Exile devs postponed major expansion pack
The hype with the transfer of Cyberpunk 2077 affects not only the studio staff and the game itself, but affects the entire industry. For example, the developers of Path of Exile pushed back the release of a major update due to the new release date for Cyberpunk 2077.
Previously, the update was planned to be released on December 11, but now the new release date is January 2021. According to the authors of PoE from Grinding Gear Games, the studio doesn't want to put players in front of a choice between two games. At the same time, the creators note that update 3.13 will be ready until December 2020, and its size will remain unaffected.
Although PoE players won't receive the 3.13 update until the end of 2020, the developers have a little surprise for them. Grinding Gear Games is launching a multi-week themed event that will help ease the anticipation of patch 3.13.
