Bonuses from GTA 6 Ultimate Edition Won’t Be Available at Launch

Most fans have already pre-ordered GTA 6, which will release in just a week and a half—and they’ve opted for the most expensive edition, the Ultimate Edition, priced at $100. It will include a number of different bonuses, but as it turns out, they won’t be available right from the start of the game.

This information spreaded on social media, citing the official Rockstar Games website, where the section dedicated to the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition states that “new items are uncovered behind each chapter.” This also appears to confirm that the game, like Red Dead Redemption 2, will feature a chapter-based system, and it will be interesting to see not only how the Ultimate Edition’s bonuses will be woven into this but also how their absence in the standard version of the game will affect the experience.

FYI: GTA 6 Ultimate Edition bonuses are NOT available right from the beginning of the game.

They’ll unlock progressively throughout the story, meaning you won’t start the game super rich or have everything unlocked immediately. Honestly, that’s how it should be. It would ruin the progression otherwise.
