Actress Revealed Fans Want Insomniac to Make Marvel’s Jean Grey

Released last month, Marvel’s Wolverine became another important step in the growth of Insomniac Games’ universe. The title has no direct connection to the Spider-Man games, but it does include several references to them. Besides Logan, the game introduced many characters known from comics, animated shows, and movies.

One of them is Jean Grey, who serves as Logan’s sidekick. Fans really liked this version of the character. Meanwhile, Krizia Bajos, the actress who played her, revealed players are flooding her with messages asking Insomniac to make a game about Jean Grey. She made this announcement in an interview with GameRant, as you can check out below:

"I will say this. I have heard a lot of people be like, “We want to play as Jean. We want to see more Jean.” And I’m just sending those over to them and just being like, “Hey, it didn’t come from me, but like, you know, in case you want to hear what the people are saying, it’s been really encouraging to see that.” It would be the pleasure of a lifetime to be able to continue to do this and to get back on those stages and to play with the same family here because it has been a highlight of my career if not the highlight of my career. I hope we get more."

Jean Grey was actually a playable character in Marvel’s Wolverine early in development, until Insomniac cut the feature. Players may still get to play as her in the studio’s next project. Reports claim Insomniac Games is working on an X-Men project, and job postings suggest it is a game with multiple playable characters. Since Marvel’s Wolverine mentions several X-Men characters, Jean Grey could become fully playable in Marvel’s X-Men.

As for Marvel’s Wolverine, despite mixed reviews from critics and players, the game sold very well last month. Neither Insomniac nor Sony has shared official figures yet. Marvel’s Wolverine is available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
