Full Reveal of The Elder Scrolls VI Confirmed for Next Month - Title and Details Revealed
It’s been more than 8 years since Bethesda first revealed The Elder Scrolls VI. The game still doesn’t have an official release date, let alone any details, including the setting, plot, and platforms. However, it looks like the studio will finally share some information about the game next month.
According to Tom Warren from The Verge, Bethesda is planning a full-scale presentation of The Elder Scrolls VI in November, as next month marks the 15th anniversary of the release of the fifth installment, Skyrim. The report also states the sixth installment will be subtitled Sentinel; it takes place in the region of Hammerfell, and the story will delve into the origins of ancient artifacts.
The Verge is reporting the full title is ‘The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel’
Official name reveal could come as soon as next month, right around Skyrim's 15th anniversary. This game was announced at E3 2018.
It's reportedly set in Hammerfell and digs into the history of the Elder Scrolls themselves and the secrets of those ancient artifacts.
Earlier this year, fans had already concluded TES VI would be called Sentinel, largely thanks to hints from Xbox head Asha Sharma. Also this summer, Bethesda confirmed the game is their top priority, and the release is rumored to be in 2028 at the earliest.
Official details regarding the story, platforms, and release date for The Elder Scrolls VI remain unknown at this time.
