GTA 6 is Likely to Release on PC Before the End of June 2027
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners have about three more weeks to wait for GTA 6. PC players, as usual, still don’t know when they can play the most anticipated game in years on their favorite platform, but rumors of a release are already circulating, and a new report adds some detail.
Michael Pachter, an analyst at Wedbush Securities, claimed in a recent BBC interview that Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to launch on PC within 6 to 7 months of the console release. If he is right, the game would arrive on PC by the end of June 2027. Rockstar Games hasn’t made any official announcement about a PC version, so this should be treated as a rumor.
Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities tells BBC News that "in about 6 or 7 months will come to PC".
As a reminder, GamesBeat reported earlier, citing its own sources at Rockstar, that GTA 6 would come to PC in the first quarter of 2027, by March 31. Many considered that unlikely, given how long it took to bring GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC. Either way, the sixth title will most likely reach PC at some point in 2027.
Earlier this week, Rockstar started sending copies of GTA 6 to journalists, and tomorrow the game will be on the cover of the new Edge magazine, which will unveil new official details.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
