GTA 6 Is Rumored to Release for PC in Early 2027

There are only a few weeks left until the console release of GTA 6, but most players won’t be able to experience the game anytime soon—namely, PC owners. Nevertheless, there’s no doubt the game will come to the PC—and according to a new report, it might happen sooner than most people think.

According to a new GamesBeat report, Grand Theft Auto VI will release on PC in the first quarter of 2027—that is, between January 1 and March 31. The website cites four sources who are reportedly close to studio representatives and familiar with their plans—possibly the developers themselves. This is a rather unusual but welcome turn of events, considering that GTA 5 didn’t make its way to PC until a year and a half after its initial release on PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to Gamesbeat the PC version of GTA 6 is scheduled to release in Q1 of 2027. That would be 2-4 months after release. That is much earlier than GTA 5's PC port, which was released 1 year and 7 months after the initial release.

There have been previous speculations that the PC version of GTA 6 might be released earlier than expected, particularly due to the current console market situation. Additionally, some believe the game will perform best technically on PC. Meanwhile, you can also buy GTA 6 for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S on Eneba, and with the promo code EGW5, you’ll get a 5% discount—the website also offers additional discounts in the Games -90% section.

However, the report should not be taken as absolute confirmation that Rockstar Games will release GTA 6 on PC anytime soon—the studio has not yet announced its plans in this regard. At the same time, GTA 6 keeps suffering from gameplay leaks, and that is unlikely to end soon. Hacker Cyberleek officially returned last week and has already released three new videos, and he has shared a roadmap for future leaks. The latest video released so far shows a close-up of a completely naked Lucia.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
