GTA 5 Has Received Mod That Adds Mechanics from Control Resonant

Grand Theft Auto V is perhaps the most popular installment in the franchise when it comes to mods. Aside from large-scale role-play servers and graphics enhancements, some mods add interesting gameplay mechanics, and one such new mod makes GTA 5 resemble one of this autumn's major releases.

User Blurbstv showed what would happen if GTA 5 included the ability to rotate the camera 90 degrees to the side. Not only would chaos ensue on the streets of Los Santos, but the game would start to resemble Control Resonant, where the protagonist uses a similar gravity-based ability to reach certain areas of the map. Check out the new mod for GTA 5 below:

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you turned GTAV's map 90 degrees onto it's side?

Now you know.

Rockstar recently confirmed changes to the modding policies for its games, which also apply to GTA 6. So, PC owners and mod enthusiasts shouldn’t get their hopes up too high just yet. By the way, if you want to visit the streets of Los Santos one last time before GTA 6 comes out next month, Eneba has a great deal. By purchasing GTA 5’s Enhanced Edition, you’ll receive the Great White Shark Card, which grants in-game currency in GTA Online, and 14% cashback on your purchase. And with the promo code EGW5, you’ll get an additional 5% rebate—don’t miss out on this great deal.

As for GTA 6, tomorrow, October 29, the latest issue of Edge magazine will hit the stands, in which Rockstar Games reveals new details and shows new screenshots of the game. Additionally, according to Sensor Tower, worldwide pre-orders for GTA 6 are approaching the 7 million mark.
