You Will Receive a Discount on The Wolf Among Us Remastered if You Own the Original Game

The Wolf Among Us Remastered—an enhanced version of the detective story developed by Telltale Games—will release this week. While many players have been wondering whether owners of the original game will receive this new version for free or receive a discount, the developers have shared some details on the matter.

Telltale has confirmed owners of the original The Wolf Among Us on all platforms (Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, and PlayStation 5) are eligible for a 50% discount on the updated edition. Meanwhile, all new players can purchase the remaster at a 20% discount through November 12, and the game itself will cost $25 without the discount. This promotion applies exclusively to digital versions of the game.

In the comments on the post, the developers also clarified the physical version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch in the first quarter of 2027—but the exact release date, as well as the release dates for the game’s Nintendo versions, remain unknown. They also confirmed that a sequel, which was revealed again this year, will also be released next year.

Along with improved textures, behind-the-scenes content, interviews with the voice actors, and even fully playable cutscenes, The Wolf Among Us Remastered will include Noir Mode, which lets you play the game in black-and-white. As for The Wolf Among Us 2, the game will use Unreal Engine 5, and players will be able to explore more open-world locations and interact with NPCs. Bigby, the main character, will also have a companion—Faye —who will assist him in his investigations.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch on October 29 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
