New GTA 6 Gameplay Details Revealed by Bloomberg

This week, GTA 6 received a major update— Rockstar Games released a new trailer of the year's most anticipated game, timed to coincide with its launch next month. It's possible that these are the last official gameplay footage, but at the same time, new details about GTA 6 will continue to emerge.

To back this up, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier published a new article titled “Behind the Scenes of ‘Grand Theft Auto VI,’” which, as you might guess, focuses on the game’s lengthy development cycle. However, the article also included several new details about GTA 6, which you can check out below:

• Jason and Lucia can spend time together and do various things—for instance, when you’re playing as Jason, Lucia might call you and suggest something to do. You can travel together through the world of GTA 6, visit gyms, restaurants, and other activities, and even hold hands and kiss while walking down the street.
• Cash in GTA 6 is truly “vulnerable”—the developers want it to play a crucial role in your gaming experience.
• Before robbing a bank, you can scout out the building to decide for sure whether it’s worth robbing or not. You can also sneak into staff areas and disable alarms to avoid drawing unnecessary attention.
• The game will feature hundreds of buildings with interiors available for exploration.
• Encounters with random passersby can escalate into full-blown fights and result in the police being called.
• The wanted system in GTA 6 takes into account information about suspects, including whether Jason and Lucia are in a relationship.
• Rockstar describes playing together in free roam as “a completely new way to play GTA.”

Before the release of the new GTA 6 trailer, Schreier had already published another article devoted to the game, but it contained far fewer details about the gameplay. Specifically, it focused more on the challenges Rockstar has faced over the past eight years that the game has been in development.

As for the GTA 6 trailer itself, it sets the stage for the upcoming adventure, which is sure to captivate millions of players for hours on end. Among the interesting details, the new video may have confirmed early rumors of full-fledged sexual scenes in the game, as Rockstar repeatedly focuses on Jason and Lucia while they’re taking a shower.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
