Final Trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity Released

The official Bleach anime account has posted the last trailer for The Calamity, the final part of Thousand-Year Blood War. The 1 minute 42 second video is titled “Kurosaki Ichigo, The Final Battle.” According to the creators, the final battle will pull in all three realms: the Human World, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo.

The last two episodes will show the final clash between Ichigo, his friends, and Yhwach. After the Soul King’s death, the Quincy leader wants to erase the boundary between life and death and merge the Human World, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo into one. Uryu, who earlier sided with Yhwach, now works against him. Ichigo heads to the Soul King’s Palace with Orihime, Chad, and Renji to stop him.

Tite Kubo previously confirmed that The Calamity would include even more original scenes than the earlier parts. So the anime’s ending may differ from the manga, and the original’s rushed epilogue could get expanded.

Only two episodes remain. Episode 49 airs on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on October 19 at 24:00, which means the night of October 20 in Japan. In the US, Viz Media will release the episode on October 19. Outside the US, the anime continues to stream on Disney+.

Episode 50 comes out on October 26. It will wrap up both The Calamity and the entire Thousand-Year Blood War adaptation, which started in October 2022. With this episode, the Bleach anime finishes adapting Tite Kubo’s manga.

The finale was originally planned for September, with Episode 49 set for September 19. But right after Episode 48 aired on September 12, the production committee pushed the last two episodes to October. To keep viewers up to speed during the break, TV Tokyo reran Episodes 7, 28, 46, and 48.

The Calamity premiered in July 2026 and runs for 10 episodes, from 41 to 50. Like the previous parts, Studio Pierrot is producing it under its Pierrot Films label.
