Valor Mortis Developers Reveal Exact Release Time

Developer One More Level and publisher Lyrical Games have announced the exact release time for Valor Mortis. The game will launch simultaneously worldwide on October 13 at 10:00 AM PT on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Due to time zone differences, the game will launch on October 14 in some regions. Here’s when Valor Mortis will become available around the world:

• New York — October 13, 13:00 (EDT)
• São Paulo — October 13, 14:00 (BRT)
• London — October 13, 18:00 (BST)
• Paris, Kraków — October 13, 19:00 (CEST)

Valor Mortis will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. For those without a subscription, the Standard Edition will cost $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition will cost $59.99. The Deluxe Edition includes cosmetic packs and a major story DLC planned for 2027. There will be no pre-orders for the game, as the developers want the finished game to speak for itself. The game was originally scheduled to launch on September 24, but the release was moved to October 13 to avoid competing with Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall.

Valor Mortis is a first-person Soulslike from the creators of the Ghostrunner duology. The game is set in an alternate Europe during the Napoleonic Wars, with supernatural elements. Players take control of William, a resurrected soldier of the Grande Armée who fights Napoleon’s monsters. Napoleon himself is played by Vincent Cassel.
