One of the Year’s Worst Game Releases on PlayStation 5 This Month

The indie game Agefield High: Rock the School from Refugium Games will be coming to two more platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game, which is conceptually similar to Rockstar Games' Bully, was released last month on PC and, despite expectations, was a resounding flop. Nevertheless, the developers have decided to release the game on consoles in an effort to attract a wider audience.

On its social media, the studio has confirmed Agefield High: Rock the School will be available for PlayStation 5 on September 25, while Xbox Series X/S users will be able to play the game on October 2. Furthermore, the game will receive a physical edition for PlayStation 5, which will go on sale on October 30. It is not yet known whether a physical edition will be available for the Xbox Series X/S. Despite the release of Agefield High: Rock the School on consoles, the Steam version of the game still suffers from a host of issues. What’s more, the fact that the game’s last update was released on August 28 —almost a month ago—is cause for concern. Additionally, the reviews for Agefield High: Rock the School are still largely negative—64%. Players report frequent bugs related to NPCs disappearing, crashes, and other issues.

Agefield High: Rock the School is now available on PC via Steam. The game's release for PlayStation 5 is scheduled for September 25. On Xbox Series X/S, it will be available on October 2.
