GTA 6 Might Receive a Soundtrack on Vinyl Records

Although GTA 6 will not be sold on physical discs and will be available only as digital codes (including those included in disc cases), rumors continue to circulate about various physical editions of the year's most anticipated game. Alleged images of a GTA 6 collector’s edition have already appeared, and now there are reports Rockstar may be preparing to release the soundtrack on special vinyl records.

An image is circulating widely on social media—reportedly taken from forums: it shows the production of vinyl records for the GTA 6 soundtrack. This could be a standalone product timed for the game’s November launch or part of a collector’s edition. Despite this, users in the comments also haven’t ruled out the possibility this could be a fake created using AI—but at the same time, many would certainly be happy to add this to their collection.

The images surfaced just hours before several artists, including Travis Scott and Future, began publicly sharing their individual GTA VI artwork across social media but were assumed to be fake.

Could we be looking at physical vinyl releases of each artwork for fans to collect?

As user SourceVI notes, these images went viral following the news that several musicians, including Travis Scott and the Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, have apparently confirmed their appearance in GTA 6 in one form or another. They posted related artwork on social media; fans took this as a sign that their songs would be featured in the game. And given that images of vinyl records have now surfaced—which Rockstar may be designing specifically for GTA 6—the pieces of the puzzle may be falling into place.

It’s possible Rockstar will share specific news on this matter soon. It’s been almost three weeks since the GTA 6 gameplay footage was released on Netflix, and the game’s marketing campaign has slowed down a bit. But tomorrow, September 17, Take-Two will hold its annual shareholders meeting, which may provide the push for news regarding Rockstar Games’ upcoming project.
