Turok: Origins Has Been Postponed to 2027, Saber Interactive Confirmed

Saber Interactive revealed new details about the upcoming online shooter Turok: Origins by releasing a story trailer during Opening Night Live. Perhaps the biggest news was that the game now has a release window—and will launch later than originally anticipated.

It was originally expected that Turok: Origins would be available this autumn, but a new story trailer confirms that the game is scheduled for release next spring, though an exact release date has not yet been announced. The new trailer also delves deeper into the conflict between the Order of the Turok and the alien race known as the Xenia and showcases new gameplay footage, as you can check out below:

Turok: Origins is a new installment in the franchise, developed and published by Saber Interactive; although the main focus is on online battles, the game will feature a story campaign that will reportedly have a playtime of approximately 12 hours —and it can be played both solo and with friends. The events of Turok: Origins have also been confirmed to take place before the original 1997 game. According to early previews, the game offers fast-paced action, with a choice of three different classes and the ability to customize them in detail.

Turok: Origins will release next spring for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
