Cyberpunk 2077 Received Best Version of Third-Person Perspective with a New Modification

For many years, various modders have tried to recreate a full-fledged third-person perspective in Cyberpunk 2077, but all of them, in one way or another, looked awkward and only detracted from the gaming experience. Nevertheless, this new modification may offer the best experience of its kind to date and demonstrates just how much work has gone into it.

Well-known modder CybrDrake has released a new version of a mod that adds a third-person perspective to Cyberpunk 2077, titled “ Immersive Third Person - Best Of Both Worlds.” Its main feature is that the animations for the third-person view have been completely reworked, while players can freely switch between views—the first-person view remains unchanged, including its animations. CybrDrake noted that the mod is still a work in progress and this is not the final version of “Immersive Third Person – Best Of Both Worlds.” Users have commented that this Cyberpunk 2077 mod is exceptional, and you can check it out in action below:

This week, CD Projekt RED announced that total sales of Cyberpunk 2077 have reached 40 million copies, while Phantom Liberty, the game’s only major DLC, has sold 15 million copies. The work on Cyberpunk 2 is actively underway, although the project still has no release date and no details regarding the story or gameplay have been revealed. Previously, it was confirmed that Cyberpunk 2 will feature a multiplayer mode and a new city inspired by Chicago—though a return to Night City is also planned.
