Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Rumored to Release on Nintendo Switch 2 This Month
This July, Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced—a remake of the original 2013 game—for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Rumors have been circulating about the game's launch on yet another platform—the Switch 2—and it appears that an official announcement could be coming soon.
As revealed by Nintendo Life, citing the French retailer E.Leclerc—which, incidentally, is currently unavailable—Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released for the Switch 2 on September 22, and a limited edition series of gamepads called the Advanced Pro Wireless Controller will also be available alongside the game. The source also provided a photo of this controller, which you can check out below:

Ubisoft has not responded to the rumors about the release of Black Flag Resynced on Switch 2; meanwhile, Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct presentation on September 9 regarding future releases for the console. If the rumors are true, an official announcement is likely to be made there. Additionally, the studio has confirmed that a presentation celebrating the The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary will take place on September 8.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced became the franchise's highest-rated game by critics in the last 13 years and for a time held the top spot with the highest user rating on Metacritic. Ubisoft confirmed the game sold 3.5 million copies in its first two weeks, exceeding the company’s internal projections.
