Until Dawn 2 New Trailer Revealed at State of Play – Release Date Announced

As expected, during the recent State of Play presentation, Firesprite unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming horror title, Until Dawn 2. The official release date was also confirmed, which, incidentally, is earlier than many had anticipated.

The new Until Dawn 2 trailer confirms that the game’s events take place 12 years after the original. We once again see Blackwood Pines Sanatorium from the first game, which a new group of characters visits, but then their paths cross with a girl named Yoona. According to her, she survived an attack by the unholy. Later, the characters end up on a tropical island that has been abandoned for many years, where an ancient evil awakens. As you may notice, the trailer once again confirms the familiar mechanics from the first game, in which players must make certain choices and have the option to either save everyone or ensure that no one survives. Additionally, it was revealed that pre-orders for Until Dawn 2 will become available on September 10, and pre-ordering will get you a couple of outfits, as well as Dr. Hill collector’s bobbleheads to discover in-game. Furthermore, it was announced that AdHoc Studio, the developers of Dispatch, are taking part in writing the script for the game—which will be released on January 28 exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
