ARC Raiders Ties Exclusive Outfits to Subway Meal Purchases Ahead of Frozen Trail

Embark Studios partnered with Subway to turn meal purchases into ARC Raiders loot, running the promotion from August 20 through October 26. The official partnership page confirms qualifying purchases, a 6-inch sub, Footlong, salad, or wrap paired with chips or cookies and a drink, at participating U.S. locations, the Subway app, or Subway.com come with a single-use code for the Subterranean outfit.

Each code also unlocks one of three Subway-themed outfit variants and two bonus in-game items that rotate weekly for the length of the promotion. Codes redeem at id.embark.games across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, limited to one per order and to players 13 and older, with the redemption window closing November 10. Subway Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer Dave Skena framed the tie-in as fuel for the grind:

"A Subway meal can do more than fuel your day. For ARC Raiders fans, it can now help fuel their next mission." Embark Studios Marketing Director Ashley St. Germain called the partnership "a natural fit, giving Raiders a way to fuel up before their next drop while unlocking a great lineup of exclusive rewards."

The timing lines up with Frozen Trail, the largest ARC Raiders update since launch, arriving October 8 with a new map, additional ARC threats, and expanded progression systems. It also follows a matchmaking change in update 1.39.0 that stopped counting self-defense against a player's playstyle profile, a fix Embark made after players avoided fighting back rather than risk being flagged as aggressors.

I think a sandwich chain funding in-game cosmetics still reads as an odd pairing for an extraction shooter built around scarcity and tension. I'd guess Embark is betting the novelty travels further than a standard cosmetic drop would on its own, especially with a major content update landing five weeks into the promotion.

Players who want the Subterranean outfit have until late October to buy in, and until November 10 to actually claim it.
